Summersault proudly participates in Presidential Debate bid efforts

RICHMOND, IN – Richmond is putting in a bid to host a 2008 Presidential Debate or Vice-Presidential Debate, and Summersault is doing its part to help. Summersault co-founder and Principal Chris Hardie was asked to serve on the Debate Bid Steering Committee, consulting on issues of infrastructure and facilities needed to host the events. Summersault is also working closely with the Economic Development Corporation of Wayne County to evaluate ways to use the technologies of the Internet to win the debate bid and showcase our community.

Summersault announces new cPanel-driven control panel hosting packages

Summersault says good-bye to longtime graphic designer

RICHMOND, IN — The staff of Summersault bid a fond farewell to its longtime graphic designer Evan Agee today, as he ends his position at Summersault and prepares to work elsewhere in the web development industry.

“I consider myself truly blessed to have been a part of this wonderful team,” said Agee, on his departure. “We’ve done a lot of great work and had much fun.”

Agee joined Summersault in 2000 as its first employee, and has been an integral part of the company’s operations since then. As a website developer and graphic designer, Agee was responsible for much of the creative process behind the appearance and build-out of many Summersault sites. Read the rest of this entry »


Summersault begins celebrating 10 years of success

RICHMOND, IN – The year 2007 will include the marking of Summersault’s 10th year in existence, and the company has begun making preparations to celebrate.

“We’re so excited to mark this milestone in our history, and we’re looking forward to doing so with our family and friends in the community,” said Summersault’s Principal, Chris Hardie.

The company was founded in August of 1997 by Hardie and Mark Stosberg, while both were Computer Science students at Earlham College. Stosberg and Hardie formed a partnership around a common interest in running a socially responsible business that made professional web development services more accessible to organizations with limited budgets. Summersault establishes Wayne County Foundation endowment fund

The fund will allow Summersault to provide enduring charitable support to individuals and organizations working in Wayne County and beyond.

Local web expert joins Summersault staff

Jane HolmanRICHMOND, IN — Summersault website development recently expanded its staff by hiring Jane Holman as Marketing and Sales Coordinator. Jane will be working with Summersault’s local, regional and national customers to assist them in seeing all the possibilities that come with a database driven web site.

“I’m excited about my new position at Summersault and especially about all of our talented staff,” Holman says. “Their expertise in graphic design and programing offers an unending realm of possibilities for organizations, large and small.”

As the Executive Director of WayNet.org, a Wayne County, Indiana community web site, Jane already has extensive experiencing managing a large, community-based web presence, and knows first hand the types of issues that must be tackled to have a web site succeed.

Summersault partners with Chamber of Commerce for new web presence

Richmond-Wayne County Chamber of CommerceRICHMOND, IN — The Richmond Wayne County Chamber of Commerce has a new website, and they’re glad they “bought local” to build it.  Summersault, LLC recently completed the development and launch of the new site for the Chamber, which features a complete graphical facelift and content restructuring, as well as several updated interactive features.
