RT power tip: quickly process unrelated tickets

We use the excellent RT request tracker for our support system.

Each request is tracked through a unique ID that gets passed the e-mail subject line. Sometimes I want to update several tickets at once using a collection of unrelated IDs I have in my Inbox.

Here’s a quick shortcut I discovered for this. I made a Firefox Quick Search bookmark, so I could quickly build a search result set with my ticket numbers like this:


tix id=8 or id=20

Firefox takes care of properly encoding the spaces when I submit the URL.
