Summersault releases Vendor Relations Policy

The document describes guidelines that will inform the company’s decision making about the use of vendors, in an effort to make the most ethical purchasing decisions possible.
“The Vendor Relations Policy is really just a formalization of many of the principles and processes we’ve had in place at Summersault for a long time,” said Chris Hardie, co-founder and Principal of the firm. “But we recognized the difficulty in clarifying how those principles apply in a given situation without some sort of established policy.” Read the rest of this entry »
Summersault takes second place in charity Quiz Bowl

RICHMOND, IN — Summersault’s team in the Eighth Annual Richmond Rotary Club Quiz Bowl finished a close second to the winning group from the local newspaper, The Palladium-Item. Summersault staff members Matt Christian and Chris Hardie, and colleague Nick Fankhauser from DoxPop, formed this year’s team. The team was coached by Mark Stosberg, also of Summersault.
The Quiz Bowl is held annually to raise funds and awareness for the Genesis Women’s Shelter in Richmond, and bring together community organizations and residents for an evening of fun competition. This year’s event, held on the Indiana University East campus on Tuesday night, featured several celebrity quiz masters from the area, including Richmond mayor Sally Hutton. The trivia question categories ranged from popular culture to politics, from history to world events. Read the rest of this entry »
Summersault staff present at state-wide conference
Posted by Summersault on February 3rd, 2004COVINGTON, KY — Summersault Principal Chris Hardie presented a seminar entitled “Websites: Big Tools for Small Recreation Departments” at the Kentucky Recreation and Parks Society’s state-wide annual conference today. The session was focused on exploring how the technologies of the Internet can enhance the programs and mission of parks and recreation departments throughout the state.
Participants learned about the general characteristics of an effective website, the tools and techniques that make up the website development process, and tips and technologies specific to parks and recreation online needs. Read the rest of this entry »
