RICHMOND, IN — Summersault, LLC has teamed up with 1-800-Save-A-Pet.com to create a series of websites related to the ongoing efforts to rescue and house pets displaced by Hurricane Katrina. The project, known as Operation Save-A-Pet, is a part of Summersault's ongoing work with the 1-800-Save-A-Pet.com organization.
“Many people don't realize that the needs related to pet rescue from Hurricane Katrina are far from over and still require urgent attention,” said David Meyer, co-founder of 1-800-Save-A-Pet.com. Meyer spent a significant amount of time in New Orleans rescuing pets shortly after Katrina hit, and knows firsthand how much work there is to be done. “Summersault has helped us to get that message out on our site and across the Internet with a special network of Katrina-related resources,” Meyer said.
The sites in the project feature a short video clip showing pet rescue efforts in the South to date, and the time-sensitive need for pet lovers to take action. The sites also feature celebrity Pierce Brosnan and his appeal for help in saving pets being pulled from the Katrina destruction.
Summersault, LLC, founded in 1997, is a leader in database driven web solutions. The Richmond, Indiana based firm offers a single point of contact for highly customized web design and application development solutions, as well as professional consulting services and support.
