RICHMOND, IN — Indiana Governor Frank O'Bannon traveled to Richmond today
to learn more about the exciting economic growth the city is pursuing.
Summersault Principal Chris Hardie was asked to talk about the growth of
Summersault, as an example of the kind of success the Governor's "Energize
Indiana" program is working to promote.
"We have clients and colleagues throughout Indiana and Ohio, around the country, and abroad," said Hardie at the conference, "but we know that we couldn't have that global reach without the wisdom, support, and future-minded thinking of our local community here in Indiana."

Before the conference, Hardie joined the Governor in his tour of the site of the new Main Street Innovation Center, helping to discuss the many ways in which the Center will contribute to the Uptown area where Summersault had its own beginnings and first office space in 1998. The Center is being developed to facilitate the growth of start-up businesses, particularly those working with technology.
The event was attended by elected from the city, county, and state level, as well as community leaders from around the region. The Governor praised the work going on in Richmond and Wayne County, and noted that the high tech progress being made here can serve as an example for the rest of the state.
