IN (Paladium-Item) - Having a Web address and running a Web site are two
different things.
Richmond Rooster fans will finally know the latter this season.
The 2001 Frontier League champions have enlisted the help of a local Internet design firm, Summersault Website Development, to create and maintain the professional baseball team's home on the World Wide Web at http://www.richmondroosters.com.
The new and improved site includes information about the team with updates to come in the following weeks.
Fans can find team history, Roosters personnel and contact information, a 2002 season schedule, ticket prices and a seating chart.
Roosters merchandise for sale on the site is limited, but new items are arriving soon.
The current 2002 roster also is posted, including last season's statistics. Links to news stories about the Roosters in the Palladium-Item are updated regularly.
