Every inquiry about working at Summersault should include these components:
- Cover letter: A personalized communication about why you’re interested in working at Summersault. We really want to know in what particular ways you think employment with us would be mutually beneficial.
- Resume: Include your full name, how to get in touch with you, relevant present and past employment, specific levels of proficiency with key tools and technologies, educational achievements, awards and recognitions, and personal hobbies and interests.
- Professional References: At least three contacts who can speak from direct experience about the quality of your professional work. Indicate clearly if we should get your permission before contacting any reference.
- A Writing Sample: A substantive existing document that demonstrates the quality of your written communication skills (e.g. proposals, research documents, project communications, academic papers, etc).
All employment inquiries can be directed to the attention of Chris Hardie. No calls or unscheduled office visits, please. Email email@example.com or send postal mailings to 710 E Main St., Suite 200, Richmond, IN 47374.
We review and respond to all the inquiries we receive that follow the above guidelines.
Summersault wishes to build a staff that reflects the gender and racial diversity of the society at large, and therefore we are particularly interested in inviting and encouraging applications from African Americans, other ethnic minorities, and women.
Summersault is a small enough company that it can be a challenge to devote enough resources to short-term internships that make them sufficiently valuable to the intern or to the company. That said, we welcome creative inquiries from students and others who see an opportunity to contribute to our team while learning more about what we do. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with your cover letter and resume, and make sure to let us know the term and type (paid or unpaid) of internship you’re interested in.
